Presentation Guideline

Oral Presentation

  • Oral presentation is scheduled from Jun. 25 to 29 on the 5th floor of ICC JEJU. The conference will have laptops which operated by Microsoft Window®. Only Power Point (ppt, pptx) will be available as presentation file. As there will be no device for Mac, it is highly recommended that avoiding Keynote or other software based on Mac OS.
  • You will not be able to load your presentation in the room that you are presenting. In the Preview Room- Rm.504 (hours are posted below) you can preview your presentation on the conference Windows computers and make minor adjustments as needed. Presenter's will not be able to use their own laptops. All presentation files will be deleted from the conference computers at the conclusion of each session.
  • Files only can be transferred by USB Memory Sticks. To prevent blocking by firewall, we don’t recommend using online transfer including e-mail and cloud. Please turn in your file(s) at the Preview Room at least 12hours before your scheduled presentation.

  • Each type of presentation has been allocated in the conference program (Plenary Lectures (50 min), Invited lecture (30 min), Short talk (15 min)) and at least two-three minutes of this time should be reserved for questions and comments from the audience. So please kindly be noticed that your presentation should not exceed allocated time, and the time schedule will be strictly followed.
※Presentation Guideline

To maximize the quality and clarity of your presentation, please adhere to the following guidelines.

  • Use 4:3 horizontal position (landscape orientation) for all slides. Material arranged vertically may exceed the height of the screen.
  • Please ensure that you are using standard installed system fonts. Novelty or other downloaded fonts will not be supported.
  • Lettering and numbering must be readable from the back of the room. Therefore, it is recommended text should not exceed 8 lines per slide.
  • Avoid the use of embedded Microsoft "objects" (e.g., Excel graphs) that may be linked to external files and website.
  • If your Presentation files include audio (sound or voice), animation or short movie file(s), you are advised to save each file separately and submit it to the staff of Preview room for testing, together with your presentation file.

Poster Presentation

  • Presenters are expected to present their posters during dedicated poster session time. Posters will be presented at the Foyer of ICC JEJU5th floor. And the exact location of each poster presentation will be listed in the final program.
  • Posters are to be set up from 11:00 am on your presentation day. Setting up the poster as early as possible to allow participants who visit poster area early can watch your poster. And it will be removed promptly at 21:00 pm at the same day. You are responsible for set-up and take down of your own poster. Unclaimed posters are not the responsibility of the conference organizers, planner, or conference center staff and will be disposed following the conference.
※Poster Board Information
    The poster-board surface for each poster will be 120cm high by 90cm wide. Posters prepared by presenters should be maximum of 150cm height and 100cm width for comfortable angle for viewers.
  • Poster board is covered with Nonwoven green fabric material. Stickers, pins and scissors will be prepared in poster exhibition area for Presenter's to attach their posters.
※Advice for Effective Poster Presentations
  • Font should be readable by viewers one meter away. The poster title, author(s)'s name(s) and affiliation(s) should appear at the top.
  • Use bullet points, and keep text to a minimum. Don’t crowd information onto the poster.
  • Keep figures and tables simple.
  • Use a simple background and color scheme that does not distract from the information being presented.
  • Excessive use of organization logos or advertisements is discouraged.
